- Trail Wind Elementary PTAPosted on: 2005-05-02PTA meeting dates have changed for this year--They will be held the 4th Thursday of the month, 7pm in the school library. The first meeting is on Sept. 22. The topic of discussion will be establishing Safe Houses through the Boise police department throughout the neighborhood. Our goal is to have a Safe House on every block in Columbia Village. The Boise Police Dept. will be presenting and answering any questions about the Safe House program. This is something that anyone in the neighborhood can do, and we encourage all community members to attend this important meeting.
Our first fund-raiser will go out on Sept 9th. Frozen Cookie Dough will be available for purchase from any TrailWind student. Prices range from $6 to $12. Funds raised will go towards purchasing educational assemblies for all grade levels, integrating Smart Board Technology into the classrooms, and art supplies. Cookie Dough will be delivered in early November.
TrailWind will be doing a Winter Carnival some time in February. Anyone interested in helping to put on the carnival, or in donating items, may leave a message at the school (424-3200).
We appreciate Columbia Village's support and help to the students at TrailWind Elementary!
